Adjacent Tuesday, Jedi Academy volition be backwards uniform on Xbox One. Jedi Academy is on the list of Xbox arrangement link games.
And so... is this possible to link Xbox Ones similar it was possible to link OG Xboxes? I vaguely recall some thing terminal year showing off an XBO linked to a 360 that was linked to an OGXB, all playing Carmine Skies.

8 player Jedi Academy on 2 projectors sounds fucking astonishing.

Last yr at Xbox FanFest they had an Xbox One, Xbox 1 Due south, and OG Xbox all system linked for Crimson Skies, so I assume it would work? I don't retrieve a 360 beingness in the mix though.

Y'all know, they could actually engineer something like this and add it to the hypervisor; Essentially running something like xlink kai to route LAN over WAN....

Make this happen, Microsoft!! Ability of the 'Deject' and all that hoopla....

It looks like Conker supports sixteen player local multiplayer past way of system link. Has anyone actually tried doing this? I know about the Cherry-red Skies affair where they hooked an OGXB to a 360 and an XB1, but has it been done like, off of a show floor?

No you cannot. You would need eight xbox's. Different games support a unlike number of players. Jedi Academy according to that list supports 1 per console in arrangement link mode

Seeing it live is the craziest shit ever. Like, 3 generations (and a half if we count the 10) playing the same game is so nuts.

Also only wanna add OP, crimson skies is 2 per console in system link mode. Not many games do 4 per console(Timesplitters 2/three ,Halo 1/2, Unreal Championship ane)

wait seriously? what the shit? well, that'due south no fun...
You can always arrangement link over Kai(in that location are other ones, but Kai is definitely the virtually popular). Information technology'll definitely take some servers on Kai running at launch.

MS needs to step up the BC's exposure. There's no mode to see it on the Xbox Store dashboard for me without manually searching for the games. What's the point of all this piece of work if people don't know most it. I wonder how LFG will piece of work for these games

WHAT? I forgot this was possible!

What nearly Star Wars Battlefront 2? It says it's 4 players divide screen with a max total of 32.
On this wiki

2 Xbox Ones x 4 player splitscreen sounds similar amazing fun. What a game changing characteristic, bringing dorsum the sometime school couch play that we lost over the years!

i was kinda hoping to do a 2 console, viii role player setup at the office. but it loses its shimmer if that requires 8 consoles and 8 screens.

Distressing bub, just that will probably always remain a dream. I want information technology to happen too just I don't think it ever will.

Id believe the MCC excuse if Microsoft never released a 4k version of Halo iii BC for 360 and too i dont recollect OG Xbox Live coming back is that out of the question with the fashion virtualization is going. But looking at the progress being made with MCC solitary makes me recollect OG Xbox Live has a shot

I wish they allowed Jedi knight:Jedi oitcast and obi wan game to be BC too.

Id believe the MCC excuse if Microsoft never released a 4k version of Halo 3 BC for 360 and likewise i dont think OG Xbox Live coming back is that out of the question with the way virtualization is going. Just looking at the progress beingness made with MCC alone makes me think OG Xbox Live has a shot
Again what I recollect will happen and the easiest route is calculation virtual LAN, it would not be hard to do and be a manner of bringing back OG XBL in a way.

i guess that'southward cool... i'm not as familiar with the game every bit i am with jedi university though.
I 100% agree. Honey Jedi Academy was a good modify of stride from Counter Strike back in my LAN days merely I had a friend love Battlefront and so we'll see how it goes, I've never played information technology

i was kinda hoping to do a ii panel, 8 player setup at the office. but it loses its shimmer if that requires 8 consoles and 8 screens.

Well you can do it for Halo 1/two, Timesplitters 2/3 or Unreal Championship one and believe me those are mighty mighty fun with 8 people in a a 4v4(I'm fairly sure and adequately hopeful those will come up to BC too).

Again what I think will happen and the easiest route is calculation virtual LAN, it would non be difficult to do and exist a way of bringing dorsum OG XBL in a way.
That would be the easiest route but it doesnt look similar Microsoft has taken the easy route for annihilation involving BC so far.
